Xenetech Adds Color Touch Screens to All Laser Engraving Systems

Baton Rouge, LA April 15/09. –Xenetech Global, Inc., a leading manufacturer of laser and mechanical engraving and cutting systems, has announced that it has developed and will begin including full color touch screens with all Xenetech laser systems – the new Duo laser/diamond drag desktop system as well as all XLT and XLE models. The new color touch screen will enable users to locate job files within the host hard drive and network; preview, pan, and zoom in on the job before engraving; as well as have complete control of the job’s execution at their fingertip. The Xenetech touch screen has on-the-fly speed and power control, re-engrave commands, multiple auto focus settings, maintenance settings and monitoring, point to an area and engrave placement, and many other features. The color touch screen replaces Xenetech’s monochrome touch screen and provides a host of new enhancements including: increased touch responsiveness and command execution speed, improved contrast and visibility, the ability to set and return to a soft or temporary home position, the ability for users to modify the screen buttons, and detailed previews of dithered and grey scale bitmaps.

Existing owners of Xenetech XLT and XLE model lasers will be able to upgrade from monochrome touch screen monitors to a color touch screen for an introductory $595 net cost. Xenetech system owners should contact their area distributor or Xenetech at 225-752-0225 or sales@xenetech.com for more information.
